According to Indian startup funding news 2026, Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, has raised Rs 100 crore in seed funding for his new venture called as ‘Off Beat’. Led by Bessemer Venture Partners, the funding showcases strong investor assurance in founders with a demonstrated skill to create flexible and successful businesses.

Off Beat, an active creator-first venture, plans to control cutting-edge technology and AI to power its platform. However, information stays undisclosed; the vision signals a determined and forward-looking digital play.

Announcing fundraises, Gupta focused on the planned value of partners over capital. He said, “Having built from scratch before, I know what capital can do and what it cannot. This time, I was looking for partners with a global perspective who can help me leverage technology and AI, because that’s where the future lies”.

Gupta also showcased Bessemer’s global track record, citing its assets in Anthropic, Shopify, Canva, and LinkedIn.

However, the company hasn’t disclosed its valuation, as per Entrackr’s sources, Off Beat's assessment would be around Rs 450 crore in the seed round.

Seed funding for OffBeat Studios represents Gupta’s second industrial stint after boAt, which crossed the Rs 3,000 crore revenue mark while achieving productivity. The OffBeat Studios funding of ₹100 crore will be materialised within a month of the launch of OffBeat. It even shows strong investor confidence in his execution capabilities and his skill to build and scale consumer brands.

Not just as an entrepreneur, Gupta has supported more than 100 startups Venture and helps with capital funding for Indian startups through his journey on Shark Tank India as well as his personal investments. His step into the content space showcases the growing trend of the founders creating personal brand-led ventures apart from the core businesses.
